Sweet and sour Beef Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
3/4 head of cabbage sliced very thinly28 oz can Crushed Tomatoes14 oz can diced tomatoesMedium onion diced8 oz Beef short rib with bones2 large beef neck bonesSplenda no calorie sweetner to tasteJuice of one lemon beef broth
Directions
Place short ribs, beef bones with water to cover by an inch. Bring to a boil and skim off any foam. Add beef broth onions and tomatoes. Let cook for an hour.
Meanwhile, thoroughly salt the cabbage, then pour hot water over it, followed immediately by cold water.
Add to the pot. Let cook for another hour, or until meat and cabbage are tender. Add Lemon Juice and splenda to taste.
