1 1/4 # skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces1/2c chopped onion1t garam masala1 1/2c bulgur1/2 med. lemon, seeded, & thinly sliced3/4c dried apricots, quartered1/3c golden raisins1/2t gr. ginger1/2t gr. cinnamon1/2t gr. allspicepinch of cayenne pepper1-14 1/2oz can swansons chicken broth1 1/4c water1/3c slivered almonds,toasted*
1. In a lg skillet, sauté chicken, onion & garam masala; cooking & stirring until brown & onion is tender.
2. In a slow cooker combine chicken mixture, bulgur, fruit, & spices. Pour broth & water over all.
3. Cover & cook on low for 2 hours. Stir in almonds.
