I like to use brown rice in this recipe and swap out the cilantro for flat leaf parsley or basil. - 12/1/11

The only problem I see, won't the fish be overdone by the time cabbage is soft? After reading the comments, I wonder how to give the cabbage & rice a little more flavor. I am looking for ways to cook fish, want to get more into our diet, we love it, but I am scared of cooking it, this makes it easy - 12/1/11

I thought this was pretty good but the cabbage and rice was very plain. maybe next time I'll add a little red pepper to give it a kick. - 3/15/07

Shredding the cabbage is great: it will cook perfectly with the fish! - 10/29/20

I am going to try this tonight, but I will lay the fish on top of the cabbage (mixed with other ingredients nixing the sugar & substituting wheat-free tamari for soy sauce & adding some garlic), drizzle it with lemon juice & a large dollop of unsalted butter. I'll serve with brown rice - 12/1/11
