Great Grandma Lizzie's Banana Bread

Ingredients
Banana, fresh, 8 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Granulated Sugar, 1 cup *Splenda, 48 tsp Shortening, .5 cup Butter, unsalted, (room temp) .5 cup *Flour, white, 4 cup Baking Powder, 2 tsp Salt, 2 tsp Baking Soda, 2 tsp Egg, fresh, 4 large
Directions
Mash bananas with sugar and Splenda (1 CUP each), let sit at least 15 minutes.
Meanwhile in a separate bowl beat eggs well.
Dissolve baking soda in 2 T warm water.
Sift together dry ingredients.

After the 15 minutes has passed, combine all ingredients and mix until just incorporated.

Bake at 350 until done, 35-50 minutes.
