360 g dry tagliatelle15g butterHalf a medium onion chopped2 cloves garlic crushed180 g drained tuna600ml skim milk2 tabs cornflour
Cook the tagliatelle in lots of boiling salted water till tender, 5-7 mins.
Meanwhile melt the butter and gently sauté the onion and garlic, mix the cornflour in a little of the milk to make a paste. Add the bulk of milk to the onion and garlic pot, gently heat and make a white sauce with the slaked cornflour. Cook until thickened. Drain the pasta well, transfer the milk sauce to the pasta pot, ( roomier and also no possibility of little burnt bits developing), mix in the drained tuna and gently fold in the drained tagliatelle
