CMNOVAK's Ham and Beans

Ingredients
1 package Great Northern (or Navy) Beans, about 2 cups3 large carrots, shredded1/2 onion, diced1 clove garlic.5 Tbsp Black Pepper, to taste1 Tbsp Paprika, to tasteWaterHam Bone
Directions
Soak beans overnight (8-10 hours) to soften, covered.

Drain and rinse beans. Return to crock pot. Add shredded carrots, diced onion, minced garlic, pepper and paprika. Stir ingredients until mixed. Cover beans with water, about 1-2 inches above top of beans. Place ham bone on top of beans. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
