Ground Beef Stroganoff (no noodles)

Ingredients
Ground beef, lean, 16 ozOnions, raw, 1 cup, sliced Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup, pieces or slicesOlive Oil, 1 tbsp Whole Wheat Pastry Flour, 2 tbspSour Cream, .25 cup Vinegar, Red Wine, 1 tbspWater, 2 cups
Directions
Heat oil in a large skillet. Add mushrooms, onion, thyme, salt and pepper and cook, stirring often, until the vegetables are very tender and lightly browned, 8 to 12 minutes. Add beef and cook until browned Sprinkle flour and stir to coat.
Stir in water and vinegar and bring to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat to a simmer, and continue cooking, stirring often, until the mixture is thickened, about 3 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring, until heated through, 1 to 2 minutes more.
