French Onion Stout Soup

Ingredients
2 tbs olive oil5 cloves minced garlic8 cups sliced onions1/4c sherry1.5c Guinness beer6c Swanson Reduced Sodium Beef Stock
Directions
Heat olive oil in skillet on high heat, add garlic and cook briefly.

Add onions, cook for five minutes on high heat and then cook for 15 minutes on low heat until onions are golden brown.

Add sherry and beer, cook until beer reduces by half. Add beef stock and simmer for 10 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes about 6 one cup servings
