Chickpea Chocolate Cake-Brownies

1 cups chickpeas2 eggs (separated)3 Tbsp cocoa3 Tbsp butter, unsalted1/2 cup sugar (divided)1/4 cup soy milk1/4 tsp salt1 tsp baking powder1 tsp vanilla extract2 Tbsp flour
Preheat oven to 350F.
Separate eggs.
In a food processor process chicpeas until relatively smooth; add yolks and soy milk and process until smooth and battery.
In a sepate pot on the range melt butter, whisk in cocoa, and add 1/4 cup sugar until smooth. If necessay add a few tablespoons water and whisk to achieve the consistency of melted chocolate.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks are achieved.
Blend together chickpea and cocoa mixture. Stir in flour, salt, baking powder, remaining sugar, and vanilla. Fold in egg whites in three batches.
Pour into greased 8x8 or 9x9 pan. Bake ~30 minute or until a knife inserted toward the middle comes out clean.
Let cool before cutting and serving.
