1/3 cup Raw Basmati rice1/3 cup Toor dal1/3 cup Chana dal1/4 cup Moong dal1/4 cup Urad dal1/3 cup grated fresh Coconut10-12 Curry leaves4-5 Red chillies1 tsp Cumin seeds1/8 tsp AsafoetidaSalt to tasteto add to the batter:1/4 cup chopped Coriander2 tbsp chopped Curry leavesOil to roast adais
Soak all the dals and rice overnight and grind them together with fresh coconut, red chillies, cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and salt. Make a fine batter and add the chopped coriander.
Make thin or thick crepes on the pan and put in ghee on top. Let it become nice and crispy on one side then flip it and let it cook for another 2 mins. Serve hot with chutneys
