2 cups quick oats2 teaspoons baking powder1 egg2 T vegetable oil (optional)11/4 cups milk
Put oatmeal in the blender and blend in high speed till the oatmeal resembles corse flour add baking powder and mix then add oil, egg and milk. blend only for a short while till mixed. if batter too thick add milk a little at at time stir in with a spoon. Also batter thickens as it sits best to cook it as soon as possible. Pre heat waffle iron and use non-stick spray. Cook according to instructions of waffle maker.
