I made this for a family reunion. Didn't go over well, but my husband and I liked it so would make it again. I like the idea of using vanilla pudding. Will try that next time. - 5/28/08

I am in LOVE with this. I wasn't quite sure about the calories so I calculated myself. For mine I used these brands: Cool Whip, Target brand frozen strawberries, Dole Pineapple, Jell-0 sugar free pudding. Everything came out in line with what it shows here, except I came up with 13 x 1/2 cups. - 9/8/10

It sounds really good. I would definately layer the fruits. Vanilla pudding sounds good too. It would be pretty in a glass bowl like a trifle with no pound cake. A drizzle of chocolate syrup. YUM! - 3/23/09

I nixed the pineapple and strawberries and doubled up the banans...not sure how that effected the calorie count but it tastes like a low-cal version of chunky monkey and it is awesome!!! - 4/11/11

Absolutely wonderful. My son was not hype on the texture so I will have to work on that in the future. I put my mixture over cubed angel food cake and used chocolate fudge pudding instead of plain chocolate. Everyone loved the flavor. - 9/9/10

I made this for company. WONDERFUL!! Super easy and I have already been asked for the recipe. NO ONE KNEW it was a "healthy" dessert. I did layer it in a glass bowl and it was very pretty. It curbs my sweet tooth. Thanks for sharing!! - 4/17/10

This was very good. I used fresh strawberries and layered it with the bananas. I added the pudding (vanilla instead of chocolate) to the pineapple only and then blended the cool whip into that. I layerd this on top of the strawberries and bananas. Everyone enjoyed! - 6/18/09

I decided to give this a try and layered everying, only mixing the strawberries with the pudding. I also used regular cool whip, not chocolate. It didn't look the prettiest but did taste good. Not something I would serve to others but will make a modified version for one in the future. - 6/17/09

Tasted just like a banana split! My whole family was hesitant to try it because when it was all mixed up, it looked "gross". I am surprised nobody else commented on that. It tastes better than it looks. I will try layering next time or possibly the vanilla pudding mix like the others have suggested. - 7/14/08

Made it for the family. It was ok. Kids and husband did not like it. I guess sometimes you just can't replace the real thing. - 6/17/08

I have a very similar recipe that my mother in law gave me years ago that inlcuded confectioner's sugar and crunched up sandie's cookies. I have since made my own healthier recipoe much like the one above but with vanilla pudding and a graham cracker crust. - 4/26/08

I love this and it's settles my sweet tooth, great with FF and SF Cheesecake pudding and a squirt of Hersheys syrup too
**But I will say the Nutritional Info for this recipe is not correct, I did it and then redid it on sparkpeople and it is higher then posted above, but still a healthy good treat - 4/16/08
