Ground beef, lean, 8 oz *Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 8 oz *Summer Squash, 1 medium Onions, raw, 0.75 cup, chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 cup, strips * Beans, white, 1.5 cup Mixed Vegetables, frozen, 0.5 package (10 oz) *Whole Wheat Penne (dry), Shredded cheese to sprinkle on topSalt and pepper - to tasteOnion and Garlic Powder - to taste
brown onions, peppers and ground meat. Add vegetables to soften - add canned soups with an additional 1 can of either water or beef broth. Lower heat and Add the penne and cover. Cook slowly to allow the penne to absorb the liquids and cook through. (about 10 min) - Stir occasionally to avoid sticking. Add seasonings to taste
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top when serving
