1 lb. cube steaks, 1/4-3/8" thick3 T. vegetable oil1 stalk celery, chopped1/4 onion, chopped1/2 carrot, sliced in thin strips1 (8 oz) can beef broth1/4 c. Flour2 t. dried parsley1/2 t. salt1/2 t. pepper1/2 t. minced garlic1/2 c. red wine
Flour and saute steaks in 3-4 T veg oil, set aside. In same pan saute celery, onion and carrots and 1 T. flour to thicken. Add broth, garlic, parsley salt and pepper to make gravy. Place steaks in a greased 9X13 dish, pour gravy on top and bake at 350, covered, for 30 minutes. Add wine and bake an additional 15 minutes.
