Nonna's Pesto Sauce

Ingredients
6 oz basil leaves, washed7 cloves garlic1 cup pine nuts1/2 cup grated parmigiano reggiano cheese1/2 tsp salt1 tsp pepper5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Directions
Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. If it is too thick, you can thin it with water.
