Vegan Low Fat Pumpkin Cake

Ingredients
1 2/3 cup all purpose flour3/4 cup sugar1 tsp allspice1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp nutmeg1/2 tsp ginger1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 cup water2 tbsp plus 2 tsp applesauce2 tbsp plus 2 tsp vegetable oil1 tsp vinegar1/2 cup canned pumpkin
Directions
In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients together and then stir in the wet ingredients. Pour batter into a lightly greased 8x8 pan and bake for 30-35 minutes at 350. Optionally, decorate the cake with vanilla or caramel frosting.
