Honey Beer Bread

3 cups all purpose flour2 tbsp sugar1 tbsp baking powder1 tsp salt2 tbsp honey1 (12 oz) bottle beer4 tbsp melted butter
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Using a wooden spoon stir in the beer and honey into the dry ingredients until just mixed. Pour half the melted butter into the loaf pan. Spoon the batter into the pan, pour the rest of the butter on top of the batter, spread with a pastry brush if needed. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes or until top is golden brown and knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
