Ingredients
-2 c sifted flour-1 tsp salt-2/3 c shortening -5 Tbs water-Enough butter to spread on dough-Enough Cinnamon to sprinkle on dough-Enough sugar to spread on dough
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix flour, salt and shortening in a large bowl with a pastry blender. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time and mix well until dough is slightly sticky. Get a small chunk about the size of your hand and roll it out on a floured surface (so it wont stick) until it is about 1/8 of an inch thick. Spread butter on surface. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl then sprinkle it across the buttered dough until you can't see dough anymore. Cut dough into 1inch by 6-7inch strips. Roll up strips and put them on a non-stick cookie sheet. Cook in oven for around 20min and see if they are golden. If they aren't then put them in for 5 more minutes until they are lightly golden.
