Garlic Mashed Potatoes

3 med potatoes1 tsp saltWater (to fill the pot)4 tbsp butter1/4 cup sour cream1 tbsp milk1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Peel potatoes and cut them into equally sized pieces.
Put the potatoes, salt, and water into a pot and bring them to a boil.
Once the water has boiled, reduce the heat and cover for 15-20 minutes.
Check to see if the potatoes are completely soft through with a fork.
When the potatoes are soft, drain the water completely and add the remaining ingredients.
Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until the desired consistency.
Serving Size: Makes 4 servings
