I substituted plain yogurt for sour cream (which I can't get in Japan) and the sauce really sated my craving for ranch dressing (also unavailable). I will definitely make the sauce again.
I made the patties with shredded carrot, green onion, cayenne pepper and paprika. Give it a try! - 6/8/11

These cakes were good, but I spruced them up a bit. I added diced onion and grated parmesean cheese, then rolled in italian bread crumbs, fresh dill for sauce. 6 year old twins couldn't get enough. - 5/21/09

These sound delicious and I'd like to try - I am wondering if these are safe/tasty to freeze and reheat? Would you do that after you cooked them? Thanks! - 10/19/07
