2 Tsp Whole Flax Seed1 scoop (22.2 grm) Whey Protein Isolate (Bioplex)1/4 cup Craisins1 1/2 cups Fresh Strawberries
You won't believe how good this is!
In blender at high grind flax seed and whey powder together. Added craisins and blend. Added a few strawberries at a time and whip at high until it looks like a thick cream. Freeze in heaping cup portions for 30 minutes.
A serving has 1/4 your daily protein, all your vitamin C, 1/2 your calcium, Omega-3 and fiber to boot! 2008 (c) KGWinder

This sounds good and I'm going to try it but how do you prevent the "ice cream" from hardening? - 5/27/08

You just put it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes -- like a soft serve. I will make it before a meal (or before a summer walk) and it freezes during this time. I have made batches that are in the freezer all the time and in this case you can just put it in the refrig 15 mins. before serving.
