Ingredients
Onions, raw, 0.75 cup, chopped (remove) Garlic, 1 clove (remove) Margarine, soft, 3 tsp (remove) Spinach, frozen, 1 package (10 oz) yields (remove) Lea & Perrins The Original Worchester Sauce (1tsp), 2 serving (remove) Low fat cream cheese, 1 cup (remove) Milk, nonfat (skim milk), 0.25 cup (remove) McCormick Bac'n Pieces bacon flavored bacon bits, 1 tbsp (remove)
Directions
melt margarine in saucepan, then cook onions & chopped garlic until tender. Add cream cheese and milk. Cook until smooth, over low-medium heat, then add defrosted spinach, , worchester sauce & lemon juice (and hot pepper sauce if desired). Stir until evenly distributed, adding herbs & spices to taste as desired. (Not included in calculations, but I generally use red pepper flakes, salt & pepper). Garnish with bacon bits, or perhaps red pepper bits if preferred; you could also mix those through the dip with the spinach.
