Buckwheat and Oatmeal Waffles Based on a Theme by Paganini

Ingredients
1 c all-purpose flour1 c buckwheat flour1/2 c old-fashioned oatmeal2 t baking powder1/2 t baking soda1/4 t iodized salt2 large eggs, slightly beaten1 1/2 c low-fat buttermilk6 T unsalted butter, melted4 T brown sugar (not packed)
Directions
Mix together the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl mix together the eggs, buttermilk, and brown sugar.
Add this mixture to the flour mixture and stir until well blended.
Cook on a lightly greased waffle iron.
Enjoy.
