Kindergarten Sugar Cookies

2 sticks butter (I often use 1.5 and it's fine)1 cup sugar2 eggs1 Tbs water1 tsp salt1 tsp baking powder4+ cups flourAdd up to 1 Tbs vanilla extract if desired (is accounted for in nutritional info)
Preheat oven to 375*F
Cream together butter and sugar. Heating butter in a microwave may make this step easier.
Add eggs, water, salt, and vanilla extract (optional).
Beat, then add baking powder. Add in flour gradually until dough is manageable for rolling.
Roll dough out and use desired cookie cutters.
Bake for 8-10 minutes; be sure to keep an eye on them so they don't burn!
Serving Size: 1 cookie (makes approximately 50/batch)
