Ingredients
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast halves or tenders (I use tenders)1/2 cup bbq sauce1 can chicken broth
Directions
Pour just enough chicken broth in a baking dish to lightly cover the bottom. Add single layer of chicken, tenders work really well because two tenders is a serving size. Lightly brush the chicken with bbq sauce, reserve the rest. Pour in the rest of the chicken broth.

Bake in a 325 degree oven for 60 minutes. The broth will keep the chicken tender. Use the rest of the bbq sauce to top the chicken when you serve it.

Makes 4 servings

Serve with potatoes you can bake in the same oven or brown rice and your favorite vegetable.

OK, I MADE THIS. I TWEEKED IT A BIT, BUT I AM SURE IT WASNT NEEDED. I ADDED 2 CLOVES OF MICED GARLIC, USED SWEET BABY RAY'S BBQ SAUCE, AND 3 TBLE SPOONS OR SO OF WORSTERSHIRE SAUCE...WOW. I GOT PRAISES ALL NIGHT. CHICKEN IS SUPER TENDER. WOULD EVEN BE A GREAT SANDWICH AS MY WIFE SAYS. DELICIOUS - 11/18/08

I made this and it was very good. I used chicken breasts instead of chicken tenders. When the chicken was cooked, I took the broth and strained it and then used it to cook couscous. I added another cup of chicken broth for the couscous. It was very flavorful. To round out the meal we added veggies. - 11/11/08

I made it with COOKIES BBQ sauce from IOWA and CERRETAS BBQ sauce from GLENDALE, ARIZONA. Both are great BBQ sauces. It's too bad they are regional sauces because everyone is missing out on some delicious BBQ sauce. If you can order them over the internet I urge you to do so immediately. - 6/23/09

Try using beer (any kind) instead of just broth - mixed with broth or alone. I seasoned the breasts with salt, pepper, onion & garlic powders (lightly) and coated the top with a layer of Bull's Eye Original BBQ sauce - It was a huge hit with everyone! Reduced cook time to about 40-45 min. - 10/10/12

I liked it, i did not cover it, I was unsure of whether or not to? I added carrots, but they did not cook, most likely cause it was uncovered. after cooing, I brushed with more bbq sauce and broiled at 400 for about 5 min. very moist and yummy! - 8/12/10

Very Easy. very tender, you can spice it up with bbq sauce type, or use season salt and pepper flakes on chicken prior to baking.... Incredible, I use very basic recipes, with corn for veggie... yummy - 7/17/10

This is a wonderful way to make bbq chicken without it eing loaded with sauce. I'm not a big BBQ fan, so this one fits my tastes perfectly as it has just a touch of the BBQ flavor, and the broth makes it so tender! Today, I used the leftovers to make healthy chicken salad & had a yummy sandwich! - 10/15/09

Very good!!! I also added some minced garlic to the chicken broth before I added. Garlic tends to be my secret ingredient. Everyone loved it! - 5/22/08

THIS IS A KEEPER! Seasoned chicken breast w/ garlic pepper & onion powder. Following one of the reviews, I mixed a can of n/a beer w/BBQ sauce; poured it over the chicken. Baked at 350° 25-min on one side, then flipping it, baked for another 35 min or so. Great as a topping for a green salad. - 7/23/15

Could have used a little more flavor. I used Hickory BBQ and it was pretty weak. Made a great "gravy" for the potatos though. The boys loved it. - 9/8/12

The flavor was not there even though I did season it. I don't know if it was the broth that made me dislike it or what. I won't make again. - 1/25/12

Hmm, I am not sure what I did wrong. I did not like this at all. The meat was very tough and had no flavor. Maybe some of my chicken pieces were too big, but even the small pieces were tough. I would not call it BBQ chicken. You have to warm up BBG sauce to pour over at the end to add bbq flavor. - 1/21/12
