Apple Oat Bars

1/2 C Brown Sugar1/3 C Smart Balance Light (6 TBS)2 eggs1/2 C Whole Wheat Flour1/4 C All Purpose Flour1 Tsp Cinnamon3/4 Tsp Baking Powder3/4 Tsp Baking Soda1/4 Tsp Salt2 Small Apples1 C quick oats65 grams chocolate chips100 grams Craisins
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
2. In large bowl with electric mixer, beat brown sugar and butter until creamy. Add eggs; beat until light and fluffy.
3. Combine both flours, the cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into butter mixture until blended. Stir in apples, oats, Craisins, and chocolate chips
4. Spread mixture in pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
Makes 20 Bars.
