1 8oz. package pork sausage4 blue bonnet 1/2 cup flour3 cups 2% milk
brown sausage in skillet. remove from heat do not drain. let cool just a little and add butter. stir butter into browned meat until melted. sprinkle flour over meat mixture a little at a time, until totally combined. return pan to medium-low heat. slowly add milk a quarter cup at a time. stir until thickened between each addition. continue to add milk until desired thickness is reached salt and pepper to taste.
serve over toast or biscuits
