Blackeyed Pea Burger

Ingredients
16 oz. cooked black eyed peas1 small can mushroom stem and pieces, minced2 cloves fresh garlic, minced1/2 teaspoon sea salt1 tsp. black pepper1/2 tsp. turmeric1/2 cup ground flax seed1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs2 tbsp. olive oil1 fresh egg, beaten
Directions
Mash beans. Add other ingredients. Shape into eight burgers. Fry in vegetable oil or grape seed oil until golden brown.

Serving Size: Makes 8 burgers.
