2.75 cups old fashioned or 2 cups quick oats1/3 cup white sugar1/4 tsp salt (optional)3 1/3 cups milk2 eggs2 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup brown sugar
preheat oven to 350 degrees
mix oatmeal, white sugar, and salt in large bowl
mix eggs, milk, and vanilla in another bowl
pour milk mixture in oat mixture and pour in greased square baking pan
Bake for 40 minutes
Put brown sugar on top and spread out, and place back in oven until sugar is melted (2-3 minutes), then turn on broil and move up top rack to about 3 inches below broil. Broil until sugar is bubbling (1-2 minutes). Watch carefully, it burns fast!
Serving Size: make 8 - .75 cup servings
