Chicken breast & broccoli Rabe w Pasta

Ingredients
1/2 pound penne pasta3 tablespoons olive oil, divided1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch chunksKosher salt and freshly ground pepper1 bunch broccoli rabe, thick stems trimmed, coarsely chopped4 garlic cloves, chopped1 cup chicken broth, divided1/8 cup finely grated Parmesan1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Directions
Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup pasta cooking liquid.

Heat 1 Tbsp. olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, 6–8 minutes. Transfer chicken to a large plate; set aside. Heat remaining 2 Tbsp. olive oil in same skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli rabe and garlic, 1/2 cup chicken broth or wine, pepper flakes, bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover for 3 to 5 minutes until rabe is tender.

Add drained pasta to the pan, add 1/8 cup dried parsley, add enough remaining broth to moisten the pasta. Stir in cheese
