black-eyed beans in tomato sauce

Ingredients
* Beans, french, 1 cup * Onions, raw, 2 tbsp chopped * Butter, salted, 1 tbsp * Tomato Sauce, 1 cup * Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 1 cup * Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
Directions
1-boil beansuntil tender
2-in a pan meltthebutter addthe onion andstiruntil golden yellow,add the tomato sauce stir for one minute.
3-add the broth and water and let it boil.
4-add the boiled beans and leave to simmer on alow flame.
5-add salt and pepper to taste
5- serve with rice
