Braised Chicken and Mushrooms

Ingredients
6 chicken thighs, skinless & boneless3 tbsp butter1 small onion, chopped8oz sliced mushrooms1/4 cup sherry1 tbsp worcestershire saucesalt and pepper
Directions
Season chicken generously with salt and pepper. In large skillet, heat 2 tbsp butter over medium high heat. Brown chicken on both sides, about 8 minutes total. Remove chicken to plate. Add remaining butter to pan. Saute onions until barely softened, about 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook until they release liquid, about 5 minutes. Add sherry and worcestershire sauce. Place chicken back in pan and spoon mushrooms over the top. Cover and simmer over medium low for 15-20 minutes, or until done.
