Tortilla soup

Ingredients
32 oz. chicken or veg. broth1 can petite diced tomatoes1 chicken breast1/2 onion1 jalapeno2 tsp cumin1 tsp lime juice1 advocado6 white corn tortillas
Directions
Boil or cook chicken breast in microwave. Cut tortillas into quarters and slice thinly, put in oven at 400 on a non sitck baking sheet. About 10 min. Cook until brown and crispy.
In crock pot , add chicken broth, tomatoes, finely chop onion and jalapeno, lime juice, cumin and salt and pepper to taste.
Add chicken to soup and bring to a boil. Serve with fat free cheese, cilantro and fresh jalapenos and tortilla strips.

    This looks great! The sodium seems a bit high,I think I would use the fat-free low sodium broth.This is definately a keeper,thanks! - 4/3/08
