Low fat oatmeal bars

6 tbs butter1 c brown sugar3 c rolled oats1 c whole wheat flour1 tbs honey1/2 c applesauce1/3 c flax seed
In large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar. Take 1 cup of oats and grind in blender. Add to the butter/sugar blend. Add the rest of the oats, flour, honey, applesauce. Combine until crumbly. Add additions like raisins or nuts if desired. Press firmly into 9x13" pan. Bake at 375' for 25 min.
