Brown Cremini Gravy

1 med onion, thinly sliced6 cloves garlic, minced1 cup sliced mushrooms3 tbsp whole wheat flour2 tsp cornstarch2tbsp nutritional yeast1 tbsp braggs liquid aminos2 cups water1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar1 tbsp thyme1/8 tsp dried sage1/8 tsp black pepper
Heat 1/8 cup water in medium saute pan, add onion, garlic and mushrooms. Saute until onions are soft and mushrooms have lost their water. Add the flour, cornstarch, nutritional yeast, and aminos. Gradually add the water, stirring constantly. While stirring, bring gravy to a boil and allow it to thicken. Add vinegar, thyme, sage and pepper.
