Carrot Burgers

Ingredients
10 carrots, cooked and mashedSautee:3 garlic cloves, minced3 onions, coarsely chopped2 celery stalks, diced2 green peppers, diced in 2T vegetable oilAdd:5 Tbsp. tamari sauce½ tsp. dried basil1 tsp. paprika½ tsp. dried oregano½ tsp. dried parsley4T Tahini1/4c. flax mealCombine all this with carrot mash.Bake 15 min at 400F on greased cookie sheet. Flip each pattie and bake an additional 15 minutes.Best freshly cooked. Consider adding breadcrumbs and reducing vegetable juices at each stage.

Add:

½ tsp. dried basil
½ tsp. paprika
½ tsp. dried oregano
½ tsp. dried parsley

Combine all this with carrot mash.

Bake 15 min at 400F on greased cookie sheet. Flip each pattie and bake an additional 15 minutes.

Best freshly cooked. Consider adding breadcrumbs and reducing vegetable juices at each stage.

    These taste amazing, but mine wouldn't stay in a burger shape. More like baked mush. I also didn't have all the spices, but they were still yummy. - 3/27/11
