Wet-Bottom Shoo Fly Pie

--crumb mix--4 cups flour2 cups sugar1 cup shortening--molasses mix--1.25 cups molasses1.25 cups blackstrap molasses2 cups boiling water2 eggs (beaten)2 Tbs vinegar2 tsp baking soda
Preheat oven to 375.
Mix flour, sugar, and shortening. Set aside.
Mix both types of molasses, water, and eggs. Dissolve baking soda in vinegar, then add to molasses mix.
Combine 1/2 of crumb mix into molasses mix. Some small lumps may remain. Divide evenly amongst 4 pie shells. Divide remaining crumb mix over the 4 pies.
Bake for 30 min @ 375. Turn down oven to 350, bake an additional 8-10 min.
Makes 32 servings. (8 pieces per pie)
