Baked Fried Green Tomatoes

Ingredients
Fresh Green TomatoesEggCorn MealSalt and Pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 and line a baking sheet with tin foil for easier clean-up. Slice green tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste. In one bowl, crack and egg, pour about a cup of corn meal into a plate. Dip each slice into the egg wash and then coat with corn meal. Place in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip each tomato and bake for 20-30 more minutes or until slightly browned (depends on the thinkness of your slices). Remove from oven and serve.
