goat cheese strawberry basil scones

Ingredients
*Flour, white, 2 cup (remove)Butter, unsalted, 5 tbsp (remove)Milk, 1%, 0.5 cup (remove)Goat Cheese, Soft, 4 oz (remove)Strawberries, fresh, 1 cup, halves (remove)Basil, 2 tbsp (remove)Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp (remove)Powdered Sugar, 1 cup, unsifted (remove)Baking Powder, 1 tsp (remove)*Kosher Salt, 0.5 tsp (remove)
Directions
Chop strawberries, chiffonade basil, and toss with 1 tsp sugar. Combine all dry ingredients (save for powdered sugar), crumble chunks of chilled butter and goat cheese into mix until sandy, then add milk, and fold in strawberries mix. Form into two small discs, cut each disc into 6 wedges and chill in freezer while preheating oven to 400. Separate wedges and bake for 20-25 minutes, until just golden. Cool on racks, combine water and powdered sugar until desired consistency and drizzle over scones to taste.
