Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef (e.g. 90% ground sirloin)1 large yellow onion (around 240 grams)2 small cans of red kidney beans1 smal can of diced tomato3 tbsp Canola oil 3 gloves garlic1 large carrotsalt (to taste)black pepper (to taste)chili powder (to taste)ground cumin (to taste)ground cayenne pepper (to taste)
Directions
Chop the onions (finely chopped) and carrots (little dices) and finely mince the garlic gloves.

Put the oil in a pan and heat it up on medium to high heat. Saute the onions for one minute or so until they get glassy. Add ground beef and cook until meat is browned from all sides. Add the can of diced tomatoes, chopped carrot and the minced garlic gloves.

Add chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper to taste (all depends how hot/spicy you like it). Let everything simmer on low to medium heat for around 90 to 120 minutes. Keep adding water so it will not dry out. The last 30 minutes add the drained beans. That's it.
