home made tomato soup

Ingredients
Canned Tomatoes, 1 can (remove)Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)Garlic, 2 clove (remove)Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Celery seed, 1 tbsp (remove)Olive Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)Heavy Whipping Cream, .5 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped) (remove)Milk, nonfat, .5 cup (remove)Oregano, ground, 1 tsp (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)Pepper, black, 1 tsp (remove)
Directions
saute onion and garlic 2 min in olive oil, add carrots and celery seed, saute additional 5 min. add tomatoes and cook 20 min.

remove from heat and puree in blender (1 cup at a time) - return to pot. add milk and stir over med heat til blended. serve
