refrigerator bran muffins

Ingredients
2 cups bran buds3 cups sugar1 cup crisco4 eggs5 cups flour1 tsp salt5 tsp soda4 cups all bran1 quart buttermilk
Directions
Pour 2 cups boiling water over bran buds, cool
cream sugar and crisco
add eggs, flour salt and soda, mix
add cooled buds mix
add all bran and buttermilk mix

heat oven to 450 turn down to 400 bake 15 minutes. Store batter in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
