12 oz. (1 and 1/4 C.) water at room temperature3 Tbs. canola oil3 Tbs. honey2 C. 100% whole wheat flour1 C. high gluten bread flour1/4 C. barley flour1/4 C. golden or brown flaxseed (whole)1/4 C. brown flaxseed, ground into meal(a mini coffee grinder works well)1 1/2 Tbs. vital wheat gluten flour3 Tbsp. powdered buttermilk1 1/2 tsp. fine sea salt2 tsp. active dry yeast
Makes 12 slices
Place all ingredients into your bread machine pan according to your manufacturer's directions. If using delayed cycle, be sure to place the yeast in a small well in the top center of the dry ingredients on top of the base of liquid. Use the whole wheat cycle, 1 1/2 lbs., light crust.
