Baked French Toast

Ingredients
12 large eggs1/2 cup of skim milk1/2 cup of apple sauce1 whole baguette, sliced in 1" slices1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp nutmeg1/2 tsp salt
Directions
Slice baguette into 1" slices, arrange slices close together in a greased baking dish.
Mix eggs, salt, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg in a medium bowl, beat well.
Pour egg mixture over bread slices, turning slices to make sure bread is completely coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit in the refrigerator overnight.
In the morning preheat oven to 400* F. Bake mixture for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and spread applesauce evenly over French toast. Serve immediately.
