Chicken/Turkey and Rice Soup

Ingredients
3/4 cup brown rice3/4 cup carrots, diced3/4 cup celery, diced8 cups chicken or turkey broth (homemade is the best tasting)1 1/2 Tbsp. minced onion2 1/2 cups cooked chicken/turkey cut into bite size piecesDried oregano, to tasteblack pepper, to taste garlic powder, to taste
Directions
Place all ingredients except for the chicken in a 3 qt. pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are about done, about 50-60 minutes. Add chicken and bring back to a boil. Cook until vegetables are done to your liking.
