Thai Basil Chicken

Ingredients
2 tbsp minced garlic1 tbsp canola oil4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs1 cup fresh basil leavesjuice of one lemon3 tbsp water1 tbsp soy sauce1 tbsp sugar1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions
serves 4
Heat oil. Add chicken to pan and brown, both sides. Thinly slice basil and add 1/2 to pan with garlic, and saute lightly. Add lemon juice, water, soy sauce, sugar and pepper. Simmer until chicken is done. Remove chicken and reduce pan juices to 1/4 cup. Add remaining basil and pour over chicken.
