2 large rutabagas1 stick unsalted butter1 tbsp nutmeg1tsp ground ginger1 tsp brown sugar to taste
Peel & dice rutabaga. Place in 3 quart saucepan with enough water to cover. Boil 15-20 minutes or until soft enough to mash. Drain, add other ingredients. Mash with potato masher until smooth. Adjust seasoning. Serve hot. Portion size 1 cup.
