Almond Chocolate Chip Cookie

Ingredients
3 cups almond meal1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp ground sea salt1/4 cup coconut oil1/4 cup maple syrup1 large egg2 large egg whites1 tsp vanilla extract, optional1/4 tsp almond extract, optional1/2 cup toasted white scliced almonds
Directions
Preheat oven to 375. Combine dry ingredients. In a separate bowl mix coconut oil and maple syrup until creamy but not incorporated, about 5 min. Add dry ingredients, a little at a time, and mix until completely combined. Place by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Press cookies down with a fork so the cookies are about 1 inch thick. Bake until set and golden, about 15 minutes.
