Peanut Brittle

Ingredients
2 c. Spanish Peanuts, Shelled1 1/2 c. Sugar1/4 t. baking soda1/2 c. Light Corn Syrup1/4 c. real hot water
Directions
Put sugar in boiler, add salt, syrup, and hot water. Turn heat on. Cook, stirring constantly until it spins a thread. Add peanuts. Continue to cook, stirring until liquid and peanuts begin to turn brown. Remove from heat, add soda and beat with a wooden spoon. Pour small amount into 6 greased pie pan. Cool thoroughly. Break into pieces and store in airtight containers.
