Broiled Grits and Mushroom Casserole

* Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices * Cereals, QUAKER, hominy grits, white, quick, dry, 148 grams * White Wine, .5 fl oz * Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 4 oz * Provolone Cheese, 4 oz * Water, tap, 4 cup (8 fl oz) * Salt, 1 dash * Pepper, black, 1 tbsp * Basil, 5 leaves 1 clove garlic, pressed
Prepare grits as directed for a serving of 4 on box. Preheat broiler.
While grits are cooking, heat olive oil in skillet and add mushrooms and garlic to skillet. Heat until they absorb the oil, stirring occasionally. Add wine. Cook into tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
Pour cooked grits into casserole dish. Layer with mozzarella cheese. Add mushrooms. layer provolone cheese.
Broil 3-5 minutes until cheese is slightly browned. Sprinkle with fresh basil. Serve hot and bubbly.
Makes six portions.
